Advanced Manufacturing
Serving Students
Greeley Central High School introduces the Advanced Manufacturing pathway. Greeley- Evans School District 6 has partnered with Aims Community College to develop two state of the art pathways: Industrial Manufacturing and Robotics. The Industrial pathway will focus on industry problem solving and industrial troubleshooting. The Robotics pathway will focus on automation, robotics and safety (note: Robotics pathway NOT available at this time). Concurrent Enrollment through Aims Community College will allow students to earn post-secondary credit as well as industry certifications. Greeley Central is currently serving 240 students in the Advanced Manufacturing pathway.
Admission Criteria & Application Process
- Any student who shows interest in this program will be considered.
- Must obtain a "C" or better in all Advanced Manufacturing classes to receive dual credit from AIMS.
- Students who do not maintain a "C" or better in any advanced Manufacturing class will be subject to removal from the program.
Industry Certifications
Through partnerships with Aims Community College, students will have the opportunity in earning the following post-secondary credit and industry certifications:
- OSHA 10 Hour Safety or CTP Safety Certification
- CTP maintenance Awareness Certification
- CTP NIMS Duty Area 5 Certification
- Manufacturing Process Certification
Post-Secondary Options
Students will earn the opportunity to receive post-secondary credit through AIMS Community College right here on the Greeley Central High School campus in the following courses:
- Safety Manufacturing Environment
- Fundamentals of DC/AC Electricity
- Experimental Design and Engineering
- Introduction to Programmable Logic Controllers
- Introduction to Process Technology
- Industrial Troubleshooting

Funding
Through the Mill Levy Override and Grant Funds, Greeley Central was able to do an extensive state of the art renovation to add a fully functioning hands-on teaching facility.
