  • All Greeley Parade Band
    Parade Marching Band made up of students from all Greeley Area Middle and High Schools.  The Band practices in June and marches in the Independence Stampede Parade on July 4th.

    Community use of district buildings is coordinated through the Facilities and Planning Department.  All applications for building or site use must be submitted through the Facilities Operations Center.

    Facilities Operation Center Services is headquartered at 2204 5th Ave. Regular office hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 am - 5:00 pm and may be contacted by dialing (970) 348-6402. Any calls placed after 5:00pm are routed to an answering service. The answering service will then contact the appropriate supervisor if an urgent or emergency situation occurs.

    The Future Business Leaders of America is a group of High School Students that gather to prepare for various competitions and tests that apply directly to the business world. We also participate in outside activites, such as volunteer work in the community.
  • FCCLA
    FCCLA is a nonprofit national career and technical student organization for young men and women in family and consumer sciences education in public and private school through grade 12.
  • Forensics Team (Competitive Speech, Debate & Acting)
    Forensics is competitive speech, debate, acting, improvisation and interpretation.  It is a highly competitive and intense activity. Forensics will train you for leadership: in school, business, government and other professions. Such training is accomplished through an extensive program of motivation, education and competition to encourage participation and proficiency in speech communication skills vital for leadership roles in all aspects of society. Prominent NFL alumni include Presidents JFK, Johnson, Nixon and Carter, Vice President Hubert Humphrey, Attorney General Janet Reno, actors James Dean, Brad Pitt and Shelly Long, news anchor Jane Pauley, television host Oprah Winfrey, Justice Stephen Breyer, Senators Karl Mundt and David Boren and thousands of other leaders in business, politics, education, law, public service and entertainment.

    In order to advance our shared vision of an exemplary school, as parents we will:

  • Thespian Troupe 657
    Troupe 657 was founded in 1945 by English teacher Grace Dawson, for whom our annual "Best Thespian" award is named. Since our chartering, over 1800 Greeley High and Greeley Central High students have become members, including numerous students who have gone on to become prominent Greeley citizens.

    Troupe membership is tendered to students who have participated in any capacity in a minimum of two plays at Central, and who have earned a minimum of 10 points. One point is awarded for each 10 hours of service.

    For the past school year, major award winners were: Grace E. Dawson Best Thespian, Will Benich and Nate Cockroft, and Unsung Hero, Dylan Shelofsky. For 2008-09, Troupe officers are Dylan Shelofsky, Jessie McMurren and Megan Skees. Mr. Mark Kolokoff is Troupe advisor.
