Will There Be Any AP Classes Next Year?
With tight budgets and cuts looming, there are many rumors about what will happen to different programs in our schools. A.P. classes are offered based upon the number of requests a class gets. That makes this year's registration process vital to continue to offer the comprehensive menu that Greeley Central has had for years. Students need to be diligent about registering and challenging themselves academically with A.P. classes to ensure they are offered.
Next year A.P. Human Geography will make its debut at Greeley Central. This class is a great way to start your AP career in high school. Sophomores and seniors are encouraged to take this class which will fulfill the World Cultures and Geography credit. This class explores the systematic study of patterns and processes that have shaped human understanding, use, and alteration of Earth's surface as well as the methods and tools geographers use in their science and practice.
To kick off registration week ,we will have an AP Night March 1 at 7:00 in the library. This will provide an opportunity for parents and students to ask teachers, counselors and administrators any AP questions they have.
Advanced classes at Greeley Central will continue to thrive, provided students continue to challenge themselves with rigorous coursework. Will there by A.P. classes next year? It’s up to you.

Remember that your support of the Wildcat Foundation helps all of our athletic teams at GCHS. Thank you!
