The mission of the GCHS Library is to provide instructional resources and support to students, staff, and parents for the ultimate purpose of enabling students to be competent and independent users of information. We also strongly support the value of free reading and strive to build a print collection that will encourage all of our students to read extensively in areas of personal interest.Our primary goal is to serve your information and reading needs. If you have any questions about finding or using the resources in our library or on our website, please ask! We are never too busy to help! Speech Communication
Description: This course will survey the different stratifications of the Speech Communication discipline including: Small Group Communication, Nonverbal Communication, Persuasion, Interpersonal Communication, Oral Interpretation and Courtroom Communication. Study encompasses audience analysis, research, organization, and various styles of speaking, delivery and proper audience behavior. Instruction will include lecture, demonstration, formal and informal speaking situations, simulations, performance and group discussions.
